Our History
The company was founded in 1972 by the renowned and award-winning pastry chef, José Sánchez Silva, who became the leading figure in pastry making in Málaga. In 1981, Francisco Sánchez Garrido, son of José, took over the leadership of the company, ushering in a new generation marked by innovation and constant research.
Following the philosophy of its founder, Francisco continuously introduces new products, textures, flavors, and designs, aiming to satisfy and surprise our valued customers. While always maintaining the purity and quality of the raw materials and ensuring impeccable execution in their transformation, Pathelin has gained great recognition from the people of Málaga.
Today, our Pathelin chocolate shops are among the most renowned for their variety and quality, guaranteeing the purity of our chocolates made exclusively with the finest cocoa. Our team strives to be a reference point in Málaga and Andalusian pastry, both now and in the future.
